ERC is a woman-owned environmental consulting firm specializing in Real Estate Due Diligence. ERC’s primary business consists of Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA’s). Effective November 1, 2007, ESA’s must comply with the federal rule entitled “Standards and Practices for All Appropriate Inquiries” (US EPA 40 CFR 312) and ASTM’s revised Phase I environmental site assessment standard (ASTM E 1527-05) to qualify for the “innocent landowner defense”. Our ESA’s have been determined compliant with both the AAI rule and the ASTM standard, qualifying our clients for liability protection under CERCLA. Additionally, the ERC staff has extensive experience performing Phase II Soil and Groundwater Investigations, Groundwater Characterization and Monitoring, Soil Vapor Surveys, Radon, Asbestos, Mold and Lead Based Paint Surveys. Our construction management team has extensive experience in providing Property Condition Assessments as well as Construction Management and Budget Monitoring.
